Terms for using nie-barcelona.com

These terms govern the use of nie-barcelona.com. Sending a request through one of its forms means you accept them.

What this site is

NIE Barcelona is an independent private service that helps people prepare NIE, TIE, EU certificate and padró procedures in Barcelona. It is not a public authority, does not act on behalf of one, and has no influence on the decisions of the Policía Nacional, the Delegación del Gobierno, the Ajuntament or any other administration.

What the guides can and cannot do

The pages describe procedures as the official sources present them when they were written. Rules, forms, offices and opening hours change: check the official source linked on each page before you act. Nothing on the site is legal advice about your own case.

Requests and assistance

A form sent through the site is a request to be contacted, and it commits neither you nor us. Should you then hire us, what we will do and what it costs are written down and accepted by you before any work begins. They are separate from the official fees, such as the Modelo 790 código 012, which are always paid to the administration.

What no one can promise

Appointments are allocated by the administration’s booking system and applications are decided by the competent offices. We do not guarantee an appointment date, a processing time or an outcome.

What we ask of you

You give accurate information and genuine documents, and you tell us when something changes. We are not responsible for a refusal or a delay caused by information or documents that were incomplete or wrong.

Limits

To the extent the law permits, what we owe you for a fault of ours cannot exceed the price you paid for our assistance. Indirect losses and the acts of public authorities are excluded.

Law and courts

Spanish law applies to these terms, and disputes go to the competent courts of Barcelona.
